Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! What a great day we had today! We have officially read across America! Yeah!! Mrs. Hubbard and Mrs. Pomerantz came in this morning and we made green eggs and ham. The children were a real sport and ate their green eggs. They seemed to actually enjoy them! Then we had a couple of High School boys come in and read Dr. Suess books to the children. The girls and boys loved this and were almost “star struck” looking up at those high school boys. We got to watch “The Cat in the Hat” and they had birthday cupcakes at lunch in honor of Dr. Suess. Then Ms. Mack came in this afternoon dressed as the cat in the hat. She looked amazing and was all in character! She read books to them and gave each student their own book to keep.
